Bindi Sue Irwin was born on July 24, 1998, in Buderim, Queensland, Australia. She is the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, renowned as "The Crocodile Hunter," and Terri Irwin, an American-born naturalist. Bindi's unique name reflects her family's deep connection to wildlife: "Bindi" was the name of Steve's favorite female crocodile, and "Sue" honors their beloved dog, Sui. Growing up at Australia Zoo, founded by her grandparents, Bindi was immersed in wildlife conservation from an early age. Bindi has openly discussed her decade-long struggle with endometriosis, a condition she battled since her teenage years.
